Ian did a fantastic job with our wedding!! He was the DJ for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Our ceremony was outside and the reception was inside. He had all the necessary equipment to move from the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, and to the reception quickly to keep our guests entertained. He did a great job picking and choosing songs based off of how our guests and how they responded to the music he played. He gets right out on the dance floor with the guests and sings along. Our guests loved him and everyone had a blast. We highly recommend Sound Wave Entertainment!!

Ian provided the perfect music for our wedding! From the ceremony until we had to kick everyone out at the end of the night, the music was absolutely perfect! We asked him for a party and he read the crowd and kept it going all night! He gave us his professional advise about how to choose the right first dance song (and other wedding event songs) for us! We could not have asked for a better MC/DJ for our wedding day and we highly recommend Ian and his full variety of services for any of your events. Ian came to us rather serendipitously (we met him through his other line of work), and we could not have been more thrilled with his DJing at our September wedding. Throughout the process, he was patient and reassuring. He genuinely listened to us and played the music we loved (and knew when to fade out a song that we loved but our guests weren't so into). He kept the dance floor filled all night and read the crowd well. Our grandparents danced, our parents' friends had a blast, and our friends loved him. Many people came up to us after the wedding to tell us how much they liked Ian and his work.
He is a great guy and a great DJ. You'll be happy you chose to work with him; we certainly were.

My husband and I got married September 10, 2016 in Ludlow, VT. It was the most amazing day of our lives and we wish we could do it all over again. All of our guests told us how much fun they had dancing all night, which was exactly what we wanted to hear. Thanks to Ian and his DJ services, our wedding ceremony and reception went as perfect as I had imagined. When we needed speakers outside for the ceremony music, Ian got it done, when we wanted certain songs to be played at certain times, Ian got it done. He worked with us closely and became a major part of the actual wedding day. Any ideas my husband and I had, Ian was open to finding a way to make it happen. He completely focuses on your vision of how you want the day to go, and offers support and guidance through the entire process. Ian even made us our own special entrance mix for when the bride and groom entered because I couldn’t decide between three songs. Ian said “hey lets make of mix of all three!”—it was absolutely perfect. During the reception, Ian played all the songs we had asked him too (and I was very particular!). He was happy to make anything possible for us. On the day of the wedding, Ian even surprised us with beautiful colored up-lighting around the reception tent. I almost cried! He’s so thoughtful and generous and I highly recommend him to anyone who wants a hard working DJ with class and style!

There is something magical about Ian as a DJ. From the moment the dancing started to the end of the night the dance floor was full and throbbing with happy celebratory energy. Ian's artistry is so intuitive that he was able to so skillfully and masterfully play song after song that worked perfectly with what people were feeling. Throughout the night, people kept coming up to us and exclaiming, faces flushed from dancing, "This DJ is SO good!" We had even asked if he could play some Turkish music for our family that came from Turkey, and he found songs that got all of them up, smiling and laughing and dancing, too, amazed that he had found such great music! Another thing that was great about Ian was how well he listened to and respected our wishes for the day -- we didn't want much "show" and emceeing for the entrance, toasts, etc. and he respected that. I really truly could not more highly recommend Ian as a wedding DJ, and I think everyone at our wedding would agree!
